Reporting Student Concerns
Because First-Year Seminars create unique opportunities for students and instructors to build important relationships, FYS instructors are often the first to notice if a student might be struggling academically or personally. Instructors are encouraged to connect students with staff who can help them address these issues early so they don't remain a barrier to the student's well-being and success.
PLEASE NOTE!
If there is an immediate concern regarding a student's safety,
please contact the University of Iowa Department of Public Safety at (319) 335-5022 or dial 911
