About Undergraduate Evening Research Assistance

The Undergraduate Engagement Department provides one-on-one help during extended evening hours at the Main Library for undergraduate students working on research assignments that require finding, evaluating, using, and citing credible information sources. We’re dedicated to helping students become better researchers and are here to help at any stage of the research process.

Examples of ways this office could contribute to FYS instructors' lesson plans, final projects, etc.

We collaborate with faculty and instructors to integrate information literacy, critical thinking, and research skills into course and curricular content. We also offer assistance in designing or reworking library research assignments that address areas where students need more assistance with the research process. Contact an Undergraduate Engagement Librarian to get started.
